Dr Mercola on the 16 September 2019 published this article “Resveratrol Improves Blood Sugar”. His story at a glance:
NaturalNews dated 27 July 2019 published this article “The same scientific establishment that absurdly claims nutrition is useless now admits resveratrol may save the lives of astronauts”.
New research from NASA has found that resveratrol, one of the key medicinal ingredients in grapes and red wine, may be beneficial in helping astronauts on future long missions to Mars avoid developing serious health conditions like muscle atrophy.
Even though the scientific establishment often insists that food nutrients like resveratrol are functionally useless for people on Earth, NASA says they’re great for people up in space who need extra strength to survive long treks across the universe.
Dr Mercola dated 22 October 2018 published this article “Resveratrol Causes Rogue Cells to Self-Destruct.” Here is Dr Mercola’s first glance. Below is Dr Mercola speaking on a YouTube about free radical damage and using supplements containing resveratrol.
[Marilyn comment] The interesting thing that I have learned about this ingredient is that it only has a short life span in your body. So what is the solution? Taking smaller amounts more frequently may have an even better results.
Did you know that in France scientists have been researching for years to understand why the French could eat and drink rich foods, high in fat and many other things that we understood to be bad for our health? It was found that resveratrol (an ingredient found in grapes and grape seeds) was helping people to prevent disease and issues with their health.
Many of you may already be taking resveratrol supplements but I wonder if you know that not all are created equally. Did you know that when it is exposed to air that it is highly oxidized? Some nutritional companies just add it to their product just to be able to say it is on the label, but are they concerned whether this molecule is actually working for you?
NaturalNews dated 29 March 2018 published this article “Consumption of resveratrol found to improve cerebrovascular function in people with type 2 diabetes mellitus”. An excerpt from this document:

NaturalHealth 365 dated 28 November 2017 published this article “Resveratrol and grape seed extract combination very effective at killing colon cancer cells, study reports.” An excerpt from the article:
“Evidence is now showing that grape seed extract offers hope for people suffering from colon cancer, and that the combination of grape seed extract and resveratrol together could be particularly potent in combating cancer cells.
When looking at grape seed extract, researchers divided 52 mice with colon cancer tumors into three groups. There was a control group as well as one that was fed grape seed extract, and another group that was fed sulindac, an anti-inflammatory drug shown to significantly reduced tumor numbers in humans.
The incidence of tumors was suppressed 50 percent in the mice consuming the grape seed extract. This was similar to the suppression rate in the group consuming sulindac.”
NaturalNews dated 28 June 2017 published this article “Resveratrol compound in grapes found to kill cancer stem cells”. Here is an excerpt from this article:
“Researchers from the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute have found a potential cure for colon cancer. They discovered that the compounds found in grapes — resveratrol — could be effective in treating colon cancer, according to Jairam K.P. Vanamala, associate professor of food sciences at Penn State. “The combination of resveratrol and grape seed extract is very effective at killing colon cancer cells. And what we’re learning is that combination of these compounds is not toxic to healthy cells.”

Below are two YouTubes recently presented (2013) speaking about the scientific studies which are revealing the anti-aging properties of resveratrol.
You will notice that they are talking in terms of maybe five years before this will be available in “pill form” and that “pharmaceutical companies are looking into this”!
Most of you will be aware that when pharmaceutical companies become involved that they do not use “natural” ingredients but they try and find a synthetic form of the part of the ingredient that they believe is actually giving the result. Sometimes it is the actual synergistic effect of the whole ingredient and not isolated segments that give the result.
You may also be aware that when ingesting a liquid that it is more readily bio-available for the body to absorb.
However,
don’t forget to listen and learn about the exciting prospects of resveratrol as
shown in the following two YouTubes and then click the link
